The generousity of others: Day One in Hong Kong

I am particularly impressed by the generosity of the people of Hong Kong is so kind and welcoming.

I've been fortunate enough to be hosted on my first day by the lovely Michele Chung, International playback theatre network president.

There is no greater delight to be had than eating shared Chinese meal. Dim sum being very popular amongst other delicacies.

We had zipped all over Hong Kong and Hong Kong Island, I am starting to get really familiar with this place I am staying in over the next 8 days.

The highlight of my day was going to Michele's playback rehearsal with the Citizen actors and then going for a good meal afterwards.

What they do is very special it is bilingual with theatrical interpreters and audio description artist.  They are performing on Friday at the Asia-Pacific Playback Theatre Conference.  if the rehearsal with anything to go by it is going to be an absolutely wonderful weekend.

I particularly enjoyed the meal the laughter and social experiences of young passionate politically minded artists living in Hong Kong.

My first day was packed to the rafters with exciting bus and train trips & food missions you could've asked for better introduction to Hong Kong hope things go ok tomorrow when I have to hit the road on my own.
